Located in Shiraz, Cut-On Cafe Bakery was designed as a contemporary gathering space where the warmth of a neighborhood café meets the functional requirements of a modern bakery. The project was conceived with the intention of creating an inviting environment that encourages people to slow down, socialize, and experience the process of baking as part of the architectural atmosphere. The interior is organized around a clear circulation strategy that allows customers to move comfortably between the entrance, display counter, seating areas, and service spaces. The bakery counter acts as the focal point of the project, establishing a visual connection between visitors and the preparation of fresh products while reinforcing the identity of the space. A restrained material palette of natural wood, textured finishes, warm neutral tones, and soft lighting creates a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Carefully integrated lighting enhances the tactile quality of the materials and provides a comfortable ambience throughout the day, allowing the interior to transition naturally from bright daytime activity to a more intimate evening setting. Furniture and seating arrangements were carefully planned to accommodate both short visits and longer stays, offering a variety of spatial experiences while maintaining visual openness across the café. Every element, from the custom joinery to the lighting details, was designed to contribute to a cohesive and timeless architectural language. Designed and delivered from concept through construction, Cut-On Cafe Bakery reflects ra. studio's approach to creating spaces that balance functionality, craftsmanship, and atmosphere, resulting in an interior that feels both contemporary and enduring.
